MERIDIAN ALCHEMY LLC ("we," "us," or "Company") operates the Vertical Jump Bible 2.0 mobile app (iOS) and verticaljumpbible2.com website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and password for authentication. You may also provide your first and last name and profile information.
Fitness and Health Data: You voluntarily enter:
- Body measurements: weight, height, age, body measurements, estimated body fat percentage
- Workout logs: exercises performed, sets, reps, weights lifted, session times, rest durations, fatigue and soreness ratings
- Assessment results: vertical jump heights, strength metrics and ratios, mobility test results, CNS tap-test data
- Goals and training preferences
Email Signup Data: If you join our marketing email list on verticaljumpbible2.com, we collect your email address to send announcements about app launches and related updates.
Technical Information: We log standard app analytics: app version, iOS version, device type, session timestamps, feature usage, and crash reports—only to improve the app's stability and usability.
What We Do NOT Collect: We do not connect to Apple HealthKit, collect location data, display third-party advertisements, use third-party analytics SDKs, or collect biometric data beyond what you manually enter.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for these purposes:
- To provide and personalize the Service: authenticate you, store your training logs, display progress, and deliver training programs
- To improve the app: analyze crashes, identify bugs, and enhance features
- To communicate with you: send service updates, account notifications, and (if you've opted in) marketing emails about app launches
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share data with service providers who help operate the Service under confidentiality agreements:
- Supabase: Cloud database provider (US-based PostgreSQL) that stores your account and fitness data
- Resend: Email service provider for our marketing email list (only email address; you control subscription)
- Vercel: Website hosting provider
We may disclose information if legally required (court order, subpoena) or to protect our rights and safety.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data and fitness logs as long as your account is active. If you delete assessment data within the app, those records are removed from our systems. To request full account deletion, email us at verticaljumpbible2app@gmail.com (in-app account deletion will be available soon). We will delete your data within 30 days, except where legally required to retain records.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Access: You can review and export your fitness data through the app, or request a copy from us.
Correction: You can update your profile and health information in the app.
Deletion: You can delete assessment data in the app. To delete your entire account and associated data, email verticaljumpbible2app@gmail.com with a request; we will process this within 30 days.
Email Marketing: You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each email or by contacting us.
Opt-Out of Analytics: We collect minimal analytics only to improve app stability. If you prefer not to share technical analytics, you can disable app analytics in your iOS Settings.
If you reside in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, etc.), these rights apply to you as well. We will respond to requests within applicable legal timeframes.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures: HTTPS encryption for data in transit, secure password hashing, and restricted database access. However, no system is 100% secure. We will notify you of any data breach affecting your personal information as required by law.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe we have collected information about a child should contact us immediately at verticaljumpbible2app@gmail.com.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements.
